Quality of learning environments for students in healthcare professions – Requirements for healthcare education providers in care settings

The HEALINT Protocol will serve as a basis for the development of a new International Organizaton for Standardization (ISO) International Workshop Agreement (IWA).

This new international standardization deliverable has already been approved for development by the ISO Technical Management Board after consultation with the >160 ISO members around the world (the national standardization bodies of member countries).

Named IWA 35: Quality of clinical learning environments for healthcare professionals – requirements, this new ISO deliverable will be lead by Sally Swingewood (British Standards Institute), Carol Hall (University of Nottingham) and Sandra Feliciano (Knowledge Innovation Centre) and has already over >20 Experts from around the world registered to participate in the June working meetings, which will happen via ZOOM on the 22nd and the 29th, repeated at 2 different times to allow comfortable participation from whenever the Experts are located.

If your organization wishes to participate in the development of IWA 35, please download the ISO invitation letter and follow the instructions to register. Participation is free of charge, but registrations should be done, preferably, until June 1. 2020.
